December will be here before we know it and it’s a great time to start thinking about your branding leading up to the festive season. I’ve come up with a few ideas to share with you.
Email Signatures
Most retail stores are already decked out in Christmas cheer. Lets’ face it, I’m sure I saw a Christmas tree in one of the larger retail stores months ago! So now is a great time to consider adding some decorative bells to your email signature.
Emails
Build your email list! It is the simplest way to increase traffic conversion. Focus on email capture to fuel your channels. Be sure to leave yourself and your customers enough time to shop and consider delivery times.
If you are working in the B2B market, you can still package your services and provide offerings that may assist through the quiet period or at least fill your sales pipeline for when the new year begins.
Social
Use the social media platforms to get your products/services out in a creative way. Use relevant hashtags mixed in with a Christmas theme to get a bigger reach.
Utilise the custom audience and lookalike audiences for Facebook.
Perhaps you can even play around with your website and give that a sprinkle of tinsel and Christmas cheer.
Events
Gather all your most loyal clients and hold a VIP event. If you do offer a product, consider opening at a special time where your store is exclusively open to them and offer a special discount.
If you offer a service, consider holding something in the board room with some bubbly and special Christmas gifts.
Christmas Cards
Thanking your clients for the support and business over the course of the year not only shows your appreciation but helps continue to build the relationship.
Breaks
We all like to take a well deserved break. If your office or store will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period, be sure to let your clients know in advance. Add it into your email signature, at the bottom of your invoices and across your social platforms.
