Why you need a messenger campaign

Creating messenger campaigns via Facebook is nothing new – yet so many business owners are not tapping into this channel.  So let me explain how you can use it….. No matter what business you are in and why.

Over ONE BILLION people use Facebook Messenger as a whole. Yes, I said BILLION. However, in order for this to work in the way I know, is that you must be able to create a conversation, at a time and place where your customer is.

Being reactive and responsive with your prospects throughout their entire customer journey is a vital one.

Let me share an example.  A real estate agent has a home up for sale and like we know many put up their signage.  Most people will drive by and notice the home and if they are interested will take note of the agent and in the world we live in today, will make contact then and there.

The prospect reaches out via Messenger from the agents Facebook page as a general enquiry and if they are responsive can start negotiating a tour of the home. This would lead through to negotiating the price and ultimately a sale or at a minimum an offer.  This has all taken place via Facebook Messenger and could have easily been a missed opportunity.

Giving people a channel to ask questions in an environment where they feel in control and comfortable can overcome many doubts.  Messenger provides that and is an essential communication tool for all businesses.

Facebook reported that more than 1 in 2 people say they’re more likely to shop with a business they can message, and 67% of people expect to message businesses more in the next 2 years.

It’s how people are communicating with family and friends. A large portion of our society prefers to communicate via a messenger with quick responses.

There are 3 different types of Facebook Messenger ads.

  1. Click-to-Messenger ads: These will drive traffic and conversations
  2. Sponsored Messages: These allow you to send promotional messages
  3. Messenger Home Placement: This is a placement for ads that can appear on your Messenger home screen (and they can take people either to a Messenger conversation or to a landing page)

In our experience running the first type has been successful for many of our clients and students who come along to our workshops. If you are the kind of business owner who would like to put this process in action yourself, why not come along to our next workshop this coming October.
